Cards!

Hey, how's it going?  I have been making some cards, but first I've got to share this picture of magazines with you.  See all these magazines?  I don't know if you've heard me complain about our mail service before, but I was always fussing about not getting my magazines in the mail.   Well recently our small Scotland post office closed and the Ridge post office has been making our mail deliveries.  When the Ridge post office took over I received all of these magazines within two weeks of each other!  I was so excited.  I knew I wasn't getting all of my magazines!  Of course Kevin (my DH) wanted to know just how many subscriptions I had, but if you look real close you'll see that there is only four different magazines.  I was just getting caught up!  Boy, I've go some reading to do now.

This is the Birthday card I made for Kurt's 10th Birthday.  He loves everything country.  I think he should have been born a cowboy because he loves everything that has to do with cowboys!  The stamp set is called "Wanted" by Stampin' Up and the paper is an old retired pattern from Close to My Heart.  He loved it and said it was his favorite.

This card was made for my Goddaughter Cayla, aka "Princess Melissa".  She turned four and is very proud of that.  I miss her terrible and can't wait to see her when I go to Texas.  I don't remember exactly what I used to make her card.  It was a mix match of lots of different products and companies.

I made a card very similar to this card for my January RAK card swap over on Paper Craft Planet.  Instead of the card saying "Bundles of Wishes" it said "Thanks".  I love this stamp set from Stampendous.  I think the paper was from Basic Grey, but I could be wrong.

This is a birthday card I made for my friend Tina who is going to be 38 years old.  Ha, take that!

This card was made for my good friend Wendy.  She loves black and white, so I always try to make her cards with that color scheme.  I like how it turned out.  I can't remember the name of the paper pack but I know it is basic grey.

Well ya'll, it's getting late and I'm getting tired, so I'm going to sign off for tonight.  Take care all!

Monster Jam 2011

This past weekend we went to the Monster Jam at the Verizon Center and had a blast.  It was a day of firsts for my boys.  It was their first Monster Jam and their first time riding the Metro, which I am happy to say was uneventful.  We all had a blast.  I even got so carried away by the excitement that I embarrassed Kyle and he traded seats.

All the "Trucks" before the show.

Me and the boys!  The extra fella you see there is Allen.  He's as good as family and we love him like our own.

Some moments were pretty intense!
