My crafty space has been neglected this week.....Time to get back on track and pick up blogging again too.
I love youtube...... I love watching videos. There are sooo many crafty talented ladies out there. Men too, I suppose. I just haven't come across them yet. Anyway. I have thought about doing crafting videos so many times, but I just don't think I will be able to keep up with it. Ha! I haven't even been able to keep up with a blog. I want to. I plan too. I love to share my crafty work. Fingers crossed that I will start posting some crafty stuff soon. Like now :-)

Really??? A month has gone by already??
It has been so crazy around here. I know I say that all the time. During the past month that I was MIA, I went to Texas to visit my BFF. We had such a great time, but like all wonderful trips, it went by way too fast.
Here are a couple pictures from the trip.
Ok, while I was there we did do a little scrapbooking. I will try to post pictures of that tomorrow. Until then I'm off to finish my Economics homework.....Yuck and mid terms are Monday......................When will it end????
Here are a couple pictures from the trip.
The Stockyards in Fort Worth was my favorite place to be. There is something about the atmosphere that just felt like home. |
Don't you just love these things? We had so much fun posing for this picture. Of course I think we had fun no matter what we were doing. |
This is my BFF Amme. We were actually sitting on the side of the road waiting for the cattle drive through town. |
Here come the longhorns. I love the look of these animals. I want you to noticed that, that is a cowGIRL leading the cattle drive... |
These animals are so impressive. They are just beautiful. |
Of course, for those of you who know me well know I love to look at the cowboys. There is something about their style................and mannerisms...............Love em'!! |

Cards!
Hey, how's it going? I have been making some cards, but first I've got to share this picture of magazines with you. See all these magazines? I don't know if you've heard me complain about our mail service before, but I was always fussing about not getting my magazines in the mail. Well recently our small Scotland post office closed and the Ridge post office has been making our mail deliveries. When the Ridge post office took over I received all of these magazines within two weeks of each other! I was so excited. I knew I wasn't getting all of my magazines! Of course Kevin (my DH) wanted to know just how many subscriptions I had, but if you look real close you'll see that there is only four different magazines. I was just getting caught up! Boy, I've go some reading to do now.
This is the Birthday card I made for Kurt's 10th Birthday. He loves everything country. I think he should have been born a cowboy because he loves everything that has to do with cowboys! The stamp set is called "Wanted" by Stampin' Up and the paper is an old retired pattern from Close to My Heart. He loved it and said it was his favorite.
This card was made for my Goddaughter Cayla, aka "Princess Melissa". She turned four and is very proud of that. I miss her terrible and can't wait to see her when I go to Texas. I don't remember exactly what I used to make her card. It was a mix match of lots of different products and companies.
I made a card very similar to this card for my January RAK card swap over on Paper Craft Planet. Instead of the card saying "Bundles of Wishes" it said "Thanks". I love this stamp set from Stampendous. I think the paper was from Basic Grey, but I could be wrong.
This is a birthday card I made for my friend Tina who is going to be 38 years old. Ha, take that!
This card was made for my good friend Wendy. She loves black and white, so I always try to make her cards with that color scheme. I like how it turned out. I can't remember the name of the paper pack but I know it is basic grey.
Well ya'll, it's getting late and I'm getting tired, so I'm going to sign off for tonight. Take care all!

Monster Jam 2011
This past weekend we went to the Monster Jam at the Verizon Center and had a blast. It was a day of firsts for my boys. It was their first Monster Jam and their first time riding the Metro, which I am happy to say was uneventful. We all had a blast. I even got so carried away by the excitement that I embarrassed Kyle and he traded seats.
Wish I could share more pictures with you, but that's a long story for another day!
All the "Trucks" before the show. |
Me and the boys! The extra fella you see there is Allen. He's as good as family and we love him like our own. |
Some moments were pretty intense! |

Couple Cards!
There are so many other things I should be doing right now other than blogging, but I wanted to put up a couple cards. One is a "Thank You" card I made for someone to give to someone else. It makes me feel good when people ask me to make a card for them and know that they are giving it to someone else. The others are Christmas cards that I never got to post. Enjoy!
I love this card, |
This was a card I made for a swap with the C2C ladies. The theme was "Spring". |
It is a "hinge" card and swivels open. |
A little of the inside detail. |
This is a favorite. I got the idea from Wendy at: http://www.wickedlywonderfulcreations.blogspot.com/ |
Sorry about the glare. Bad lighting. yuck! |
Aren't those boys adorable? Yes, yes they are. |
